Responsible for providing technical guidance and on-site supervision for the design, construction, and establishment of greenhouse facilities to ensure efficient, durable, and productive greenhouse operations over a one-year assignment. Available for a one-year full-time assignment.
- Provide technical oversight for greenhouse design and construction, including site selection, layout, and structural specifications.
- Supervise installation of greenhouse structures, irrigation systems, climate control, and related infrastructure.
- Guide implementation of good greenhouse agronomic practices during establishment.
- Train project staff and farmers on basic greenhouse operation and maintenance.
- Ensure construction and setup meet recommended agricultural and safety standards.
Degree or Diploma in Horticulture, Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field; Proven experience in greenhouse construction and management; Practical knowledge of irrigation, fertigation, and greenhouse climate systems.
Strong hands-on and field-oriented professional. Experience supervising construction and agricultural projects. Good communication and training skills. Willing to work on-site for the full project duration.
